What is Neevii Ink?
Neevii Ink is an image editing and compositing application aimed at visual effects work. Its working space is scene-linear (ACEScg), it processes 16-bit half float and 32-bit float imagery, and it uses OCIO for colour management, with tools familiar to Nuke and Photoshop artists. Generative Remove, Replace and Extend can run entirely on the artist's own machine.
Colour and pipeline
- ACEScg scene-linear working space with ACEScc and ACEScct viewing transforms
- OCIO config management, including a studio's own show configuration
- Show LUTs applied to the view, never to the pixels — so colour decisions stay non-destructive
- 16-bit half float and 32-bit float processing, with EXR and HDR imagery
Generative editing and local AI
Generative Remove, Replace and Extend work in any supported colour space — 8-bit or 16-bit integer, or ACEScg linear 16/32-bit float — without converting the plate first. Models can run locally on the artist's own GPU (air-gapped, with the network disconnected), on a studio's own inference server, or through the user's own optional cloud API key. Only the crop and mask are ever sent, and only where the artist points them.
Platforms and downloads
Neevii Ink is native on Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and Linux (Ubuntu 24.04+, x86_64). Both installers are fully offline: the Windows .exe includes the WebView2 runtime, and the Linux .run installs per-user with no root or FUSE required. Version v0.1.0 (October 2026). Download Neevii Ink.
Is Neevii Ink free?
Yes, free for personal use, with no watermark and no feature limits. Commercial use requires a licence; commercial licensing is coming soon and pricing has not been decided. There is no DRM and no online licence check, because the product is used by air-gapped studios.
